Skate Base Skatewear isn’t just a brand—it’s a voyage of passion for life on the 8's and a love for nurturing adult rookie skaters.
Skate Base London was founded in 2023 by Kelly, a London-born skater, offering a range of adult skating classes. This quickly progressed to following through on an idea to create an urban style print to place on some t-shirts. Now, here we are with a vibrant collection of functional, comfortable, urban skatewear for [mostly] 30+ women who are rewriting the rules of how we show up in our international skate scene.
Humble Roots in Islington
It started with a simple truth: skatewear for grown women doesn't have to be an afterthought! As Skate Base London’s classes quickly grew into a thriving hub for adult beginners, we noticed something powerful—our skaters weren’t just learning rhytmic skate moves; they were building confidence, friendships, and a bold new identity on wheels. They were embracing the diversity and self-empowering nature of our skate culture.
And So, we create apparel that reflects that vibrant energy.
